Netbooks for Everyone?
I'm an Apple Freak and I'm excited by the iPad. I immedietly started thinking of all the different ways I could use it in class. I would love to have a set off laptops in my class for students to use. However, when I propose this idea, how do I answer the "why" question? Should a class be outfitted with laptops? Please leave a comment? Also, does anybody know of places were I could apply for grants to fund this idea? Thanks again!

I did the same thing as soon as the iPad was announced. I think that the iPad has amazing implications for the elementary classroom. If I had the choice and unlimited funds, I would probably go with a 1 to 1 MacBook program with iTouches. But, given funding restrictions that iPad seems to be a great answer. Can't wait to see the additional apps that come out for education as a result!ReplyDelete
I just heard of a grant today by Quest. Sorry don't have a link or much info but it is a tech grant.
Thanks for the link. This should be very helpful when I beg my district for money! Thanks again!
