The Complete Guide to Evernote in Education #Evernote

I've been talking about Evernote for some time and I have been doing many presentations about how awesome Evernote is for education. I finally decided to write the book on Evernote in Education.

Currently, the book is available on AmazoniBookstore and Evernote's Trunk.

I'm really excited about this book. It covers all of the important areas educators consider when looking at new technology.

I write about Evernote as a lesson planning tool, as a cloud storage tool, as a great tool for sharing with students, teachers and parents. I also share how Evernote fits in with BYOD and 1:1 learning environments. Evernote is great at being something to everyone and it is really worth checking out.

If you have questions about Evernote after reading the book, feel free to tweet me or email me and I will be happy to answer them for you.

As an official Evernote Education Ambassador, I really wanted to do something to help more people see how Evernote can make a positive impact in their classroom.

If you are interested in using Evernote on your iPad, you should check out my book on the iBookstore. The Beginner's Guide to Using Evernote on the iPad.

Have a great day everyone!

  1. I am excited to read your book! I started using Evernote in November, two months into my first vice principal assignment at a 7-12 school. My goal was to become the first paper less VP in our school board. Shortly after my conversion I won a 6 month Evernote premium subscription at EdCamp Ottawa making my transformation that much more sweeter. My new goal is to share the usefulness of Evernote as a teaching and learning tool with the teachers and students in our school. The Complete Guide to Evernote in Education will certainly help! @mrscreitsma

  2. I've heard about Evernote from friends who use it but never really gave it a try. I might consider buying this book so I will know how I can make use of Evernote for work. Thanks for this post.

  3. Do you have this available in a format I could read on my Android phone? Kindle doesn't always cross apply.

  4. I am using this on my iPad and no doubt Evernote is one of the best. Great post by the way.

  5. I might start to use this. Have heard so much about Evernote. ~

  6. I have been exploring ever notes uses in education myself. Here are my thoughts.

  7. Hi Nicholas,

I am a tech teacher at a preK-5 public school. I use Evernote personally and am considering trying it out with some of our students. We have iPads, iPod touches, and are soon getting minis as well. Do you have the name of a teacher contact who has used Evernote with younger students?

    Many thanks,

    Amy Koegel

  8. Hi – I am so delighted I found your blog, I really found you by accident, while I was researching on Digg for something else. Nonetheless I am here now and would just like to thanks for a fantastic post and an all round interesting blog (I also love the theme/design)
