I'm sort of in the same boat only because I am at a new school, new grade level, and new subject this year (I'm one day ahead of my students--not ideal, but making it work). Thanks for sharing this idea. I assigned a deep analysis of an argumentative essay to my students the other day, and I contemplated doing the assignment myself since I created it. How many times have we created a lesson that theoretically sounds awesome, but then we find that it's too difficult or impossible for the student to answer? Doing our own homework will keep us much more grounded.Chris Stanleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02245864672893459888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7005114591173102634.post-5944662116970961582011-09-28T20:16:53.902-04:002011-09-28T20:16:53.902-04:00What a fantastic idea! As a teacher candidate, I have to reflect on the issue of homework and how to approach it. This has definitely given me something to think about.
