Plus, our school district is at a technology crossroads, and I'd love to hear your perspective.Dave Swankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11438010137032377662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7005114591173102634.post-55813385798258129832012-12-10T16:37:10.641-05:002012-12-10T16:37:10.641-05:00Love this idea! I agree, virtual meetings are good, but face to face is better. Get some video and pictures along the way and you would have an awesome presentation to share! Our location is not too far out of your way; I am cool but I guess could participate in a Nerdy Meet-Up. :) Katie Nissenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09178600633161940721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7005114591173102634.post-5138848824672127612012-12-10T16:25:37.573-05:002012-12-10T16:25:37.573-05:00I think your idea sounds fantastic! Just re route your trip to Florida. Hey, every time I see Southgate Shopping Center I think of you. As a Communication Studies professor, I think there is something unique that is generated through in-person, face-to-face communication that can not be replicated to the same extent virtually. Virtual communication makes what was previously impossible possible, but it does not necessarily generate the same connections, ideas or results as in-person 2ndheartmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00919890652824633782noreply@blogger.com
