Sometimes, students do not have the luxury of world travel and books do not provide enough information to truly see what a city or monument looks like. There is a great site teachers can use to explore different parts of the world. Here are some of the places you can go:
Explore the Taj Mahal
Stonehenge
Mount St. Helens
The Supreme Court
US Capitol Virtual Tour
The Louvre

Don't forget all of the street views and 3d buildings in Google Earth. You can take trips on the fly!
ReplyDeleteOoh- nice link.
ReplyDeleteI found this one from someone on Twitter- it's a game kinda' like Carmen SanDiego, except it's about this band called Cobra Starship. It actually looks good, but- I have NOT had the chance to explore in thoroughly- and it may be appropriate for only middle & high school.
Here's the link & thanx for the reminder on the 100 Great Trips.
